Demagnetization is more likely to be the cause of damage to the magnetic pump, once the demagnetization occurs, many people may be at their wits' end, and may cause a lot of damage to the work and production. Today to tell you about the main reasons for the demagnetization of magnetic pumps and magnetic pumps should pay attention to some of the problems in the use of the process.
The reason of magnetic pump demagnetization:
● High temperature, the flow rate is too small for a long time during operation or the outlet valve is closed for too long, which will cause the internal medium temperature of the pump to become high, and the lubrication of the pump’s bearing will also become poor, and the temperature will be higher.
● Dirt will be inside the cooling or lubrication pipeline blockage will cause the internal and external magnetic cylinder temperature rapidly becomes high, there is a possibility of loss of magnetism;
● Failure to pay attention to cleanliness during overhaul, iron chips adsorbed on the inner magnet cause the isolation sleeve to wear through;
● The axial clearance between the inner rotor and the isolation sleeve is too small, causing friction and loss of magnetism;
● Thrust bearing wear, causing the inner rotor to rub against the isolating sleeve

● Preventing the particles into pump.
Do not allow the ferrmagnetic impurities or particles into magnetic actuator and bearing friction.
After conveying the medium which is easy to ctystallize or precipitate, it should be flushed in time(fill the pump cavity with clean water after stopping the pump and discharge it cleanly after running for 1min ) in order to guarantee the service life of the sliding bearings. When conveying medium containing solid particles, it should be filtered at the entrance of pump flow tube.
● Preventing demagnetization of magnetic pumps
The magnetic intermoment must not be designed too small.
It should be operated under the specified temperature conditions, and it is strictly prohibited to exceed the medium temperature. A platinum resistance temperature sensor can be installed on the outer surface of the isolation sleeve of the magnetic pump to detect the temperature rise in the annular gap area so as to alarm or shut down when the temperature exceeds the limit.
●Preventing dry friction in magnetic pumps
Idle rotation is strictly prohibited. It is strictly prohibited to pump out the medium. In the case of the outlet valve is closed, the pump continuous running time shall not exceed 2min, in order to prevent the magnetic actuator overheating and failure.
