How to choose a suitable chemical pump for different concentrations of hydrochloric acid?

Hydrochloric acid is corrosive, and different concentrations of hydrochloric acid have different requirements for chemical pumps and the materials of the pump body flow parts.
 
Material selection for chemical pumps
 
Low-concentration hydrochloric acid (<20%) has a certain degree of corrosiveness, but it is relatively low and is suitable for processing materials resistant to weak acid corrosion, such as PVC, PP, etc.
 
Medium-concentration hydrochloric acid (20%-37%) is highly corrosive and usually requires the use of more corrosion-resistant materials, such as PVDF, PTFE, etc.
 
High-concentration hydrochloric acid (37%-40%, concentrated hydrochloric acid) is very corrosive and requires the use of highly corrosive materials, such as PFA, ceramics, etc.

1. Operating conditions
Temperature: The hydrochloric acid delivery temperature has an important impact on the material selection, and a pump made of high-temperature resistant materials needs to be selected.
 
Flow and head: Select the appropriate pump model according to the flow and head requirements of the hydrochloric acid delivery.
 
Viscosity: Although the viscosity of hydrochloric acid is low, it may change in high concentration and low temperature environments, and the viscosity adaptability of the pump needs to be considered.

Leakage prevention: Hydrochloric acid is highly corrosive and volatile. Selecting a pump with good sealing performance can effectively prevent leakage.
