Chemical pumps can adapt to the needs of chemical processes. In chemical production, pumps must not only transport liquid materials and provide the necessary pressure required by the process, but also ensure the amount of materials transported and keep the pumps running efficiently and reliably.
 
Chemical pumps are more corrosion-resistant. The media transported by chemical pumps, including raw materials, reaction intermediates, etc., are often corrosive media. In order to ensure the safe, stable and long-life operation of the pump, this requires the appropriate and reasonable selection of pump materials.

 
High and low temperature resistance. Regardless of whether the acid-resistant or alkali-resistant pump transports high or low temperatures, the material selection and structure must be appropriate, and there must be sufficient strength. The parts of the designed and manufactured pumps must be able to withstand the effects of thermal shock, thermal expansion, low-temperature cold deformation, cold brittleness, etc.
 
Wear and erosion resistance. Since the logistics transported by acid and alkali resistant chemical pumps contain suspended solid particles, and the impeller and cavity of the pump also work under high pressure and high flow rate, the surface protective layer of the pump parts is damaged and its life is short. Therefore, the tolerance and erosion resistance of the chemical pump must be improved. This requires the selection of wear-resistant manganese steel, ceramics, cast iron, etc., and the selection of erosion-resistant titanium, manganese steel, etc.

 

No leakage or less leakage. Most of the media transported by chemical pumps are flammable, explosive, toxic and harmful liquids. Once leaked, it will seriously pollute the environment, endanger personal safety and the physical and mental health of employees, and do not meet the requirements of leak-free factories and clean and civilized factories. This requires that the chemical pumps must not leak during operation, and new technologies and materials must be used in the pump seals, and the pumps must be operated according to regulations and overhauled with high quality.
 
Reliable operation. The reliable operation of chemical pumps includes two meanings: one is that the pumps can operate for a long period without failure; the other is that various parameters are stable during operation. The reliability of operation is crucial to chemical production. If the pumps often fail, it will not only cause frequent shutdowns, affect production and economic benefits, but may also cause accidents in the chemical system. Fluctuations in the speed of centrifugal pumps will cause fluctuations in flow and pump outlet pressure, so that chemical production cannot proceed normally or the reaction in the system is affected, and the materials cannot be balanced, which not only causes waste, but also causes product quality to decline or the product is scrapped.
