The correct inspection method before starting the external vertical pump can help the operator understand whether there is any abnormality in the chemical pump body and whether it will affect future use. Therefore, the inspection before starting is very important.
1. Check whether the pump is installed on a solid horizontal surface, whether the pump body is installed vertically with the body on top, whether the pump is fixed on the horizontal surface with screws, tighten the screws to avoid vibration.
2. Check whether the inlet and outlet pipes are connected. The connecting pipes need to be consistent with the inlet and outlet pipe diameters. Gaskets need to be added to the flange connection position. At the same time, the inlet and outlet flange screws need to be reinforced in place. Too tight or too loose will affect the flow performance and even the integrity of the tank-outside vertical pump. Please make sure that all nuts are locked in place. If they are not locked, liquid leakage and air intake will occur. If they are locked too tightly, they are easy to fall off and damage.
3. Check whether the pump is twisted and deformed due to excessive force or incorrect installation during installation.
4. Check whether the wiring method of the pump and the power supply is consistent with the motor wiring method; whether the line is intact.
5. Check whether the pump head of the tank-outside vertical pump is below the liquid level.
6. Please confirm whether the inlet and outlet pipes are open before starting.
7. To ensure that the vertical pump outside the tank can be used for a long time, a filter can be installed at the inlet of the device to prevent the pump from being damaged by the suction of debris.
8. Try to avoid installing the machine outdoors. If it needs to be installed outdoors, it should be covered with a protective cover. If the pump is equipped with an electronic controller, it must be protected.
9. If the outlet piping height is higher than the motor or there is a reverse pressure, please install a check valve at the outlet of the vertical pump outside the tank. The installation position should not exceed the liquid level too much.
